The Communities for Children (C4C) initiative focuses on targeted, early intervention approaches to improve family harmony, health, communication and participation in broader social networks.

BoysTown works in partnership with local agencies, businesses and the community to support the early development of children (up to 5 years of age).

Activities include literacy programs, parent and child exercise programs, multicultural parenting groups, young parents peer support, Indigenous programs and community and worker training.

The Australian Government Department of Family, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs provides funding support for this program through the Stronger Families Initiative.

This service is offered in Deception Bay, Queensland.
