Indigenous Youth
BoysTown's Stepin Up program is a structured training and employment program (STEP) for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth aged 17 to 25 years.
Young people undertake a four week job preparation course - Certificate I in Skills for the Future. They are then provided with help to find a job and receive ongoing mentoring.
Stepin Up is funded by the Federal Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
This service is available in Logan, Inala, Ipswich and Redlands, Queensland and in Campbelltown and Blacktown, New South Wales.
