Who We Help

BoysTown helps disadvantaged children and young people aged to 25 years connect with the community.

Each year:


  • We assist more than 2,500 young people access training and employment, helping them build a brighter future
  • We provide accommodation and support to more than 80 families who are homeless or need support due to domestic violence
  • Hundreds of young people develop improved life skills through programs on budgeting, parenting, cooking, conflict resolution, communication and healthy relationships

Each month:


  • Parentline provides counselling and support to approximately 1,000 parents and carers across Queensland and the Northern Territory

Each week:


  • Kids Helpline counsellors respond to more than 6,000 calls, emails and online contacts from children and young people across Australia
